This is a very exciting month for me. I will get to vacation back in California and the next Harry Potter Movie, The Half Blood Prince, will be in theaters on July 15th. Of course I already have my tickets for July 14th 12:01 am showing, which I guess is actually the 15th. I’ll be there wearing one of my Harry Potter shirts but I’ll leave my wand home. It really helps me out in the kitchen. You don’t think I could dream up all of these original recipes and cook all of this food without a little magic, do you? I have a lot of help between the house elves and a wand, cook’s best friends.
I hope you are planning some fun outings this month. We have our national holiday, kids are out from school (well mine is taking a math course for credit), it’s mostly sunny and getting warm and the farms are harvesting great crops. I just love the summer. I’m hoping to take a trip north when I’m in CA and head over to the Santa Monica farmers market.
